In terms of the packaging of stone products, the export requirements are generally fumigated wooden crate packaging, the stone tiles/slabs are required to be placed vertically, two pieces polished sides face other, the smooth surfaces are separated by foam, and the surrounding areas are wrapped in foam.

● Wooden crates made of standard wooden boards, wooden squares and other materials. In principle, products of the same or similar specifications are packaged together, and each wooden crate has a load of no more than 1.5 metric tons. In special cases, it can be packaged according to customer requirements.

● Only products that have passed the final inspection of the quality inspection department can be packaged and must be handled with care during the packaging process to ensure that the surface of the product is complete and the surrounding area is not damaged.

● Before packing, the wooden box should be placed stably, or slightly tilted backward, so that the specification board can lean back smoothly and avoid tipping over.

● When packing, stone pieces of the same or similar specifications together, with the surfaces of the stone tiles facing each other and the bottoms facing each other, so as to reduce the friction between the stone during transportation.

● During packaging, the stone tiles should be closely attached to each other, and there should be no gaps or any looseness; styrofoam should be placed around the wooden box. For multi-layer packaged boards, additional boards and styrofoam should be placed between each layer. As for the boards packed in multiple rows of small boards, each row should be separated by wooden boards.

● Before each box sealing, the variety, specification, and quantity of engineering boards in the box should be counted, and a label should be written on the side of the wooden box.

Slab packaging

● Use composite standard wood, wood and other materials to make wood frame for packing slabs. Two wooden frames are used for each slab, and the width of the inner frame of the wooden frame is determined according to the total thickness of the actual packaged slab.

● Lift the slab, insert the matching wooden frame from both ends, check the gap between the wooden frame and the slab, and ensure that the wooden frame and the slabs are tightly matched and there is no loose phenomenon.

● Put the wooden frame upright, put down the board, and fix it with iron wire or wooden frame, so that the wooden frame clamps the slabs from top to bottom.

● Before the wooden frame is reinforced, the product variety, specification and quantity should be accurately counted, and a label should be made and attached to the side of the wooden frame.

● The weight of each slab shall not exceed 4 metric tons.
